Vance Randolph’s “Ozark Folk Songs” and the Lomaxes’ “Folk Songs of North America”, Suzanne and Jim entwine skillful instrumentation on the 5-string banjo, guitar, mandolin, flute, penny whistle, spoons and courtship dulcimer, with delightful harmonizations that encourage group participation.
